I miss you mom. So much is different now that you’re gone, sometimes I think you’d never recognize the world. It has been nearly 8 years and I still feel you here in all sorts of ways. There’s so much I wish I could share with you but I can’t even finish this message for the lump in the back of my throat. It will always hurt to have lost you—you were too great a force to be forgotten. I love you mom, always will.
